OMA Beijing has another beautiful variation on the classic skyscaper. To be built in Singapore. No twists, no morphs, no parametrics. Nevertheless bold and inventive. Like it…
What is the Rotterdam office actually busy with at the moment? Haven’t heard so much lately…
New Jersey was the NYoffice, right?

The Rotterdam Office is quite busy with urban developments in – guess where – UAE, Dubai, Quatar, you name it. Doing huge models, childish and sublime at the same time.

As an aside – check the old but interesting interview with Rem at Der Spiegel.
I also hear That he isn’t fond of mass-productions of options anymore – the method seems to have shifted to a “stick with it and go for it” mentality. Which is interesting, as I am personally changing my method the opposite way.

If you are interested in this method check the architectural work of Dogma, a very interesting (and quite extremist) italian (or dutch?) firm.

Oh, definitely. I know Pier-Vittorios work very well from the Berlage. Thats really another (extremist) scale. For those interested in his academic work check out the current exhibition at the Bozar in Brussels (http://www.bozar.be) and the accompaning publication: -Brussels- A Manifesto, launch on April 3rd @ berlage Institute.
