While Rotterdam’s noto­ri­ous Witte de With Straat is full of new exhi­bi­tions in time for the recent Muse­um­nacht, one photo exhibit should not be missed. The MKga­lerie shows recent work by Dutch pho­tog­ra­pher Hans Wilschut. At times the images doc­u­ment archi­tec­tural processes (con­struc­tion), they also inves­ti­gate archi­tec­tural post-​processes (aban­don­ment). They are always engag­ing and having spoken to the artist about his recent pho­to­graphic trip into China, we’re dying to see the new work. But that won’t go on show in the Nether­lands too soon -the next Chi­nese exhibit will be in Shang­hai, nat­u­rally. See it now – until the 25 March, 2007.
